AT THE INTERSECTION OF CURRENT SCIENCE AND TRADITIONAL WISDOM
The pandemic spotlighted how interconnected and interdependent we are to each other and to the natural world.
Ecology is the study of those interrelationships.
If we want a habitable planet in the next century, ecology must be one of the most important fields of study in this century.

Gaia’s Meadow Campus Center
As a “forest school” for advanced learning, most of our classes and programs are outdoors, either on campus or in experiential learning sites throughout the region. Gaia’s Meadow is now the campus center and the central gathering place for the University of the Wild community. A lovely fire circle and standing stone now greet students and visitors coming into the campus center, and several learning pods tucked into the trees accommodate outdoor classes. The yurt has been moved onto the campus for indoor classes and occasional accommodation for staff and visitors, and a well and septic system are coming soon.
