How You Can Help

Many Ways to Help

Your support will help our students learn, experiment, and innovate as they develop new strategies and models to help humanity overcome the climate crisis and its related issues. Your support will help insure that our students receive a deep, holistic, experiential – and unique – education that will allow them to become the thinkers, leaders, and movers of the next generation of stewards of the planet.

Make a Direct Donation

You can make a one-time donation or a recurring donation. If you would like to, you can make your donation a tribute to, in honor of, or in memory of someone special to you. Donations can be made by check, credit or debit card, or PayPal. Click here to go to our donation page.

Business Sponsorships

Sponsoring a University of the Wild event by contributing time, volunteers, goods or services needed for the event, etc. is a great way to let your customers know that you care about the environment and the social issues related to the climate crisis. Please call us at 978 855-1420 for details.

Giving Tuesday

We participate in the international Giving Tuesday event in early December. Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving, with people and organizations participating from every country in the world.

Volunteer

We almost always have projects in need of extra hands, from office work to gardening and other work on the campus land. If you have a couple of hours a week or a couple of days off and nothing to keep you occupied, call us! Find out what we have going that might interest you. 978 855-1420

Things We Need That You Might Have

Please call us at 978 724-0412 if you would like to donate any of the following supplies or if you have things that you think we might want that are not on this list.

Office Supplies

We can always use office supplies like plain white copy paper, pens, paper clips, etc.

Gardening Stuff

We need wheelbarrows, rain barrels, composting bins, mulch, rakes, shovels, loppers, netting, and anything else you might have that you are not using. Were also looking for a garden shed in which to store such supplies, irrigation supplies, and books about gardening, permaculture, forest gardens, etc. for our student reference library.

Teaching Supplies

Our students need actual “things” and “stuff” to play around with, investigate, take apart, and generally get to know. Ancient and historical tools and small machines, modern solar, wind, and water technology parts, and ecology/environmental teaching tools would be welcome additions to our teaching collections.

Building Supplies

Students do a lot of constructing, from raised garden beds to tiny homes, simple historical structures to demonstration models of avant garde technologies. Paths, trails, driveways, and fences need maintaining. We welcome donations of lumber, gravel, windows, plumbing and electrical supplies. If you’ve just finished a building or renovation project, please call us: we might be interested in picking up your leftover materials.
